Once a year at The Maltings in Farnham, Surrey the local quilting groups and guilds get together to exhibit their wares and there's also a few halls of fabric shops and demonstrations too.
This post will be quite a picture-fest of inspiration, at least in my eyes.
The eagle and stained glass were really something special and the seaside themed quilts were really bright and cheerful for a winters day.
Perhaps tomorrow I'll try and post pics of the fabrics I brought.

Hello stranger - love the final star quilt (must have a proper name but I don't know that sort of thing!!) x
HI Karen, I've been following you for a while and I didnt realise you lived in Hampshire aswell until this post! I live in Fleet so farely close to Farnham. I had no idea about the quilt exhibition. Is it on a set date each year? How do I find out when the next one is? Do you have to be in a guild or group to go? Looking forward to seeing what fabrics you bought, Dana x
Hi Dana,
next years provisional date is 13th Jan 2013, you don't have to be a member of any club or guild to go but all the local groups will be there exhibiting.
It was £5 entry or £2.50 at 1pm or later.
It's great to find a local person in blogland! Let me know if you have any good fabric shops over your way, I go to The Eternal Maker nr Chichester or order online... ;o)
