I'm very excited about two things and just had to share!
No 1 - I did it!
I bit the bullet and had a go at hand sewn binding on my pot holder/oven mitt.
Sorry for the poor picture quality but it was dark when I took it!
It's not quite finished yet but I'm really pleased with how it's going, and I'm also making one in the strawberry fabric in the corner of the picture.

I got an ORLA KIELY bag from TESCO - YAY!
These lovely pear design jute bags are being sold through Tesco with money from each sale going to the
Clic Sargent charity - caring for children and young people with cancer in the home. Advertised as 'only in larger stores' I wasn't sure we'd get them in my local shop but yesterday there they were! I only had enough money for one yesterday, but I'm definately going back to try and get some more, I know a few people who would LOVE one!
