I don't very often get to do a monthly round up and have alot to show, I'm a pretty slow quilter, I procrastinate and faff about... But look!
In May I made a tester block and then all three Union Jacks for hubby's Jack Attack Anniversary quilt.
Now I must sash them together!
I resurrected my kaliedoscope blocks from the back of a drawer and managed to make enough for a quilt top! I made my first ever Bee Blocks for Sarah's Siblings Together Bee and I made a mock up (the orange one!) and then some 'real' quilted notebook covers which will become teacher presents.
Phew! When I put it all together I'm really proud of myself! I often doubt my ability, I lack confidence, even when people ask why am I still calling myself 'Novice' - but hey that could just be the 2 bottles of beer talking!
So I'm linking up with Fresh Sewing Day over at Lily's Quilts, even if I am a day or so late!
And Lets Get Acquainted hosted by Annabella at Life's Rich Pattern this week.

Yay for May!!
I love your Union Jacks - no wonder your hubby is letting you have a sewing room if he is getting that quilt. And you are definitely not a novice now!!!
Gorgeous projects! I love the Jack Attack blocks too, and the kaleidoscope quilt is stunning :) Thanks for linking up today!
They're all great. It does help to do a review at the end of the month doesn't it? Dropping in the from Fresh Sewing Day.

You have some awesome projects going!
Fun finishes! I love the kaleidoscope quilt! I've been wanting to make one of those but it hasn't happened yet. Those notebook covers are pretty fun too and fabulous teacher presents!
