Pop Art Sewing Machine Cover!

I loved this fabric from the moment I saw it and cut into it almost straight away, even though I wanted to stretch it over a canvas as wall art!

I'm so pleased with how my sewing machine cover has turned out that I may even bore treat you to a tutorial later in the week!

I used the fabulous sewing related 'Keep Calm' print for the back, sides and pocket sections.

And a coordinating tape measure print for the top.  After looking at a lovely lady's pictures on Flikr, I even managed to work out how to do the handle hole in the top!

I made my cover slightly tall as I tend to leave the Cotton reel on the top and the machine threaded - gasp!

I bound it in Kona Solid Jade Green which is just the most gorgeous colour and my second favourite solid at the moment after Robin Egg Blue!

I'll be linking up with;

Actually, I can't wait for the tutorial! My poor brand new machine has been sitting idly by waiting for me to use it and it is exposed to all the dust in the house! (Shame on me)This way, the machine won't be idle, and it will have a new blanket to keep it cozy clean!
Yours, by the way...is simply adorable!

Love sewing machine covers - a sewing machine is naked without one! Yours is very cute :)
