I hate this part...

Welcome to my hallway floor! Don't let it be said that I'm not a rock n roll kinda gal, rounding off the weekend on my hands and knees!

Decisions, decisions...
What quilting design shall I do?
Let's pin and tape accordingly...
Did I use enough pins?
Will it have any baggy bits?

Uh oh - here comes the wine!
Any diamond shapes that weren't straight before, certainly won't be now!

Where do you lay your quilts out for basting?  I've realised that this floor will not be big enough for hubby's Jack Attack quilt...

I hope you have all had a great weekend!

I currently use the living room floor but it's not big enough for two quilt tops I've got hiding under my bed. I think I'm going to have to ask if I can borrow the vestry one afternoon!

I use the living room floor too but it is really hard on the knees. i have to remember to stand up every five minutes otherwise it is so painful when I eventually do.

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog the other day. I couldn't reply to you as you're a no-reply blogger, but found you just now when Sarah posted about the blocks we sent her.

Fun! I love the kaleidoscope design. I have a huge room with hardwood floor that I can even lay a queen size on. It's a blessing!

I use the floor, but it's a bit of a pain, not sure what i'll do when i get a much bigger quilt. Hope your knees and back have recovered!!

This is looking wonderful. I mostly baste on our dining table, which fortunately is ridiculously big, I roll the ends as I go...it's not the best technique but less backbreaking and cleaner than the floor!
